The tour began with an introductory mini-lecture by Leonid Losikhin, engineer of the Laboratory of Deep Magnetotelluric Studies (LDMS). Students had an excellent opportunity to learn more about the main activities of the laboratory - physical and geological basics of methods of magnetotelluric sounding and electrotomography, as well as the equipment used in the RS RAS for geophysical research using above-mentioned methods.

Earlier, on March 11, 2022, an agreement was signed (prolonged) between RS RAS and KRSU on practical training of students studying in the specialty 20.03.02 (RF), 760100 (KR), "Nature Management and Water Management", profile of training was "Integrated Water Resources Use and Protection".

Educational and work practices of AUCA students studying in 510200 "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science", profile "Mathematical Modeling in Natural and Social Sciences", have been carried out since 2017 (Memorandum on scientific and technical cooperation between AUCA and RS RAS from June 1, 2017).

Students are interning under the guidance of leading specialists of the Research Station and have the opportunity not only to consolidate the knowledge gained during the educational process at the University, but also, by performing individual assignments, to learn the main features of research activities in the field of Earth sciences at RS RAS.

We wish the students have a fruitful internship and success in the coming academic year!
