According to the Agreement No. 001/2026 dated 02.02.2026 on "Joint work on mathematical processing of scientific geodetic data", from February 02 to 15, 2026, the second stage of mastering the GNSS data processing process in the GAMIT/GLOBK program by colleagues from Kazakhstan took place at the RS RAS. K.K. Kolumbetova and N.B. Amirov from the Laboratory of Physics of Geodynamic and Seismic Processes of the National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NSCSRI) LLP participated in the implementation of the Agreement. On the part of the RS RAS, LGPS employees – Y.M. Salamatina, O.A. Prokhorov and S.I. Kuzikov ensured the fulfillment of the terms of the Contract.

As a result of the fulfillment of the Contract, under the guidance of LGPS staff, colleagues from the NSCSNI processed GPS data for 2024-2025 on the territory of Kazakhstan with the involvement of points of the international IGS network at the GAMIT and GLOBK stages. Time series of coordinates (ITRF2020) and velocity vectors (EURA2020) of permanent observation points were calculated, graphs of coordinate variations and a map of horizontal velocities were constructed using the GMT program.

Dear colleagues!
The 18th International Conference of Young Scientists and Students "MODERN EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGIES IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH"(http://mmk.gdirc.kg/) will be held from April 22 to 24, 2026, at the Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek city.

THEME OF THE CONFERENCE:
Section "Integrated geological and geophysical studies of seismically active regions" includes reports on methods and new software systems used to monitor the geoenvironment and ionosphere, and on the results of their application, as well as reports on various kinds of geoinformation systems.
Section "Natural and technogenic hazards" includes reports on the prevalence and features of manifestations of seismotectonic processes, landslides and mudflows in Central Asia. The same section also presents reports on man-made hazards associated with the operation of reservoirs and mining in seismically hazardous areas.
Section "Interdisciplinary reports" is divided into two subsections: "Mechanics" - includes reports on solving complex and dynamic problems in various areas of modern mechanics; "Interdisciplinary reports" - includes reports on the formulation and solution of problems of mathematical modeling of physical, economic and other processes, as well as on modern methods and technologies used in the processing of various kinds of data.
GYBRID FORMAT: oral (online) and poster (offline) reports
PUBLICATION OF THE BOOK OF MATERIALS is expected in autumn 2026. The collection of materials of the Conference is registered with the Book Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is also indexed in the information and analytical system of the RSCI (https://elibrary.ru/).
