Since 2009, every year, the International Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Modern Equipment and Technologies in Scientific Research” has been held by the Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek city. The Sixteenth “Molodezhka” took place in 2024: the event was held from April 24 to April 26, 2024, in a hybrid format and brought together about 80 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. The event was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The main goals pursued by the organizers of the event are to increase the level of scientific research and expand the scientific horizons of young scientists and students, integrate science and education, develop the creative activity of scientific youth, as well as popularize scientific research conducted at the Research Station of RAS.
The conference functioned in a hybrid mode: as part of breakout sessions, oral in-person reports and online presentations were presented. The main scientific directions of the event cover a wide thematic range and allow participants to present the results of scientific research in the field of Earth sciences and Ecology (sections “Comprehensive geological and geophysical studies of seismically active regions” and “Natural and man-made hazards”), as well as Mechanics and Physics, Mathematics and other natural and technical areas (section “Interdisciplinary reports”).
On April 26, the Conference closing day, a series of sightseeing scientific and technical excursions took place, which familiarizes participants with the main areas of scientific activity of the Research Station of RAS.
The Book of Conference materials with full-text materials of the reports. is planned for publication in the Fall of 2024. Book of Conference materials are registered with the Book Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic, and are indexed in the RINC information and analytical system (https://elibrary.ru/).
