Survey Geological Tour

On June 24, 2017, the 7^th International Symposium was traditionally concluded with survey geological tour. It started from “upper sight” of Research Station of the RAS in Bishkek, from where the glorious view on mountain constructions of Kyrgyz Mountain Range is opened. The experienced geologist – researcher easily could recognize numerous geomorphic, stratigraphic, tectonic, gidrogeological and other objects.

Prominent specialist on neotectonics, Director of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanatbek E. Abdrakhmatov, gave a tour for Symposium participants from different countries. In course of this geological tour, the most attention was paid to conditions of main active faults and Earth’s crust blocks forming landscape.

VII International Symposium

On June 19, 2017, the VII International Symposium “Problems of Geodynamics and Geoecology of Intracontinental Orogens”, which is traditionally held on the basis of Research Station RAS (RS RAS) and International Research Center – Geodynamic Proving Ground (IRC – GPG) started it work. This Symposium is devoted to 80-th Anniversary of the date of birth of prominent researcher, founder and first director of Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences - Yuri A. Trapeznikov (18.10.1936 – 13.04.1999).

The Symposium Opening Ceremony and first plenary session took place in the conference-hall of “Jannat Resort” hotel, which is situated near Research Station RAS, in picturesque Valley of Alamedin River.

Director of RS RAS Anatoly Rybin addressed the participants with opening speech and wished Symposium every success, interesting and productive discussion. In conclusion, Anatoly Rybin announced the Symposium opened

The following official persons addressed the participants of the Symposium with welcoming speeches:

Alexandr Gliko – the Chairman of Organizing Committee of the Symposium, Academician Secretary, Chairman of the Department of Earth’s Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences;

Apas Bakirov – Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic;

Abdulaziz Abdullaev – the Representative of scientific society of Kazakhstan, Head of Laboratory of the Institute of Seismology MES of Kazakhstan;

Eduard Krustkaln – the Counsellor of Embassy of the Russian Federation, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In conclusion, Anatoly Rybin red out congratulation letters from National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations of Russia

Center for the common use of scientific equipment “Complex geodynamic studies”

Results of the functioning of CCU of IGR in 2021

 The Center for Collective Use "Integrated Geodynamic Research" (CCU IGR) on the basis of the RS RAS was created on April 2017.

 Center for Collective Use of IGR conducts researches in the field of seismology, space geodesy, magneto-telluric sounding. Appropriate equipment is available for these studies. The telemetry system for the collection and processing of seismic data KNET operates in real time. There is a network of 10 permanent GPS stations, including 2 stations of the International GNSS Service (IGS) international network. Data is collecting via Internet channels, radio modems, telephone modems. Geophysical surveys are being carried out on the territory of the Central Asian GPS network. The base organization carries out precision GPS, linear angle and leveling measurements.

 The Center for Collective Use of IGR offers access to the database of the magneto-telluric sounding, to seismological databases, to a continuous stream of seismological data in real time, to raw GPS data in real time, to daily raw GPS data, to data of long-term GPS measurements in Central Asia and Kazakhstan.

 The Center for Collective Use of the IGR participates in the activities monitoring, reflecting its results on the http://ckp-rf.ru/auth/ website in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. There are 628 registered centers for various purposes in Russia now. Annual competition for users and CCU support money is fierce.

 On 2021 year 13 scientific works were published and 1 dissertation of the candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences was defended based on the use of the equipment of the Center for Collective Use of IGR.

 On 2021 the CCU IGR had 3 external users. Data of KNET was transmitted to the Ministry of Defense Special Control Service of the Russian Federation, Dubna city and the Institute for Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. GPS data was transmitted to the University NAVSTAR Consortium (UNAVCO), Boulder.

THE IX INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE of YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND STUDENTS

On 27 – 28 of March, 2017, the IX INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE of YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND STUDENTS «MODERN TECHNIQUE AND TECHNOLOGIES IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH» took place.

102 persons participated in the Conference: 94 participants are from Kyrgyzstan, including 25 researchers of Research Station of RAS in Bishkek city, 7 participants form Kazakhstan, 1 participant from Ukraine (online report).
